Is Tropo a broker?
No. Tropo is a weather-market intelligence and decision-support platform only. We analyze weather data and surface statistical context against public Kalshi market prices — we do not place orders, hold funds, act as a broker, dealer, or investment adviser, or provide financial advice. Any market activity happens directly on Kalshi (kalshi.com) or another venue outside Tropo.
How do I review a market?
Use Tropo to inspect weather and public market context. If you choose to act, you do so outside Tropo on the relevant venue.
What markets does Tropo cover?
Tropo currently surfaces public market context for 9 U.S. cities: Austin (AUS), Denver (DEN), Dallas (DFW), Houston (HOU), Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago Midway (MDW), Miami (MIA), Seattle (SEA), and San Francisco (SFO). These correspond to monthly rainfall contracts listed on Kalshi.
Is my data safe?
Yes. All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Tropo uses Clerk for account sessions and Sentry for error monitoring, with account identifiers, emails, and tokens scrubbed before any error report is sent. Analytics are consent-gated, and we do not sell your data or use third-party advertising SDKs.
How do I delete my account?
Email [email protected] with your request. We will delete your account and all associated data (decision journal, analytics events, preferences) within 30 days.
What is Kalshi?
Kalshi is a CFTC-designated contract market regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission. It is a federally regulated prediction market exchange — not a gambling site. Kalshi allows users to trade on the outcomes of real-world events, including monthly precipitation totals.
